OM camp was really amazing. The camp in itself wasn't so amazing, but I think the most amazing thing is us, the OM team OMsidians, and how much the seniors put in, and the camraderie, but most of all my team.
Totally loved our HTHT yesterday it was so amazing and affirming and inspiring and completely inspiring. Think we all know each other better now, and I love how we can relate to each other. I think it's quite amazing that we've only known each other for around 2 months and yet we're already this close to each other, and I really hope that we'll keep being so close throughout the competition and beyond, even next year when not all of us are in OM anymore or in the same team, cos' some friendships really should be kept close to the heart.
Coaches and seniors always say that OM either makes your team incredibly bonded or really hate each other, really hope it's the former. I can't imagine our team ever hating each other for anything. We have our differences, but I believe we can overcome them if we try.
Yknow I think although everyone says the spirit of OM is creativity, for me it's not. For me it's the people I meet, the people I get to know, how you get to work together. Work hasn't really started yet but I hope with all my heart that we'll remain close and get even closer over the months.
