FOT Potluck!

One thing I learnt from FOT Potluck today: I need to learn to face up to my fears. I really do. Don't ask me how I got that from a party, I just did. And I have to learn to stop worrying and go along with the flow, there's no point being too perfectionist really. Things will go well, they're meant to. Even if they don't everything happens for a reason(:
I think the party was quite amazing really haha(: not that many people came but personally I think it went great :D Probably no one's gonna read this post but it was really amazing. And housecomm and the capts put it so much effort they're awesome (: as well as everyone else who came cos it could never happen without them!
I think I finally figured the reason why I love house events so much is that after every house event, I'll feel really inspired and refreshed, no matter what it is, how small it is. House gives me a sort of... confidence I can never get from anywhere else, its not just the sense of belonging and that people care, it's the exhilarating feeling I get after that. I really don't know how to describe it, it's just amazing. And today was better than usual, since I played such an essential part in the whole thing, it feels so good, so right, that something that keeps surging through me...The belief that I can do well, that I can achieve my dreams, that there'll be people who will help me and everything. It's just incredible how Tarbet can make me feel like this, but I'm really grateful for the house, for the Tarbetians, for the housecommers, for everyone that ever played and will play a part (':
I can't find words to express the joy I'm feeling now, what I've typed above just isn't good enough. I guess there're some things that can only be felt with the heart <3
