Exactly one month so sing finals. how now brown cow.
Batam trip on Monday was pretty cool (: its quite shocking how a place so incredibly close to Singapore can differ so much in terms of culture, economy and everything else. Looking at the kids there really makes me really how incredibly
lucky we are to be born here in Singapore, in relatively well-to-do families, feel quite bad for never actually appreciating what we have here. And seeing them so enthusiastic about everything... sometimes I do wonder if they're actually way happier than we are now, since they have less thus they appreciate what they do have, and they lead far simpler lives not 'contaminated' by technology or too much money or whatsoever.
History trip today, the video was quite sad and touching, but at the end of it the only thought I had was: if they can survive that, why can't I survive?
knowing that you will survive no matter what.
Also, passion for OM completely restored over the last 2 days, still not sure how well we can do, but i love us <3 i love OMsidians for being OMazing and understanding and awesome and cool and crazy and just being us. I don't know why, it was simple enough i think, it all just flooded back to me, the reason for all this stress, the reason why I chose to take OM despite all the stress I knew I was going to have.
Minyan is amazing <3 i really do look up to her now O: and she has so much in common with me its quite cool really.
Today is a good day.
