Today was OH! And it was good although I'm dead tired now. It feels good to be promoting RGS to parents and p6s, knowing that some of them will be our juniors next year! (: and being at the OM booth was amusing. Periods of slacking an no one around and periods of frantic rushing haha (: awman <3 and helping out at guides randomly even when it isn't my shift is fun! Caitlin and Julia are such cute juniors omg. And laura's singing failed. Just saying (x oh but when the 4 of us were singing On My Honour to a parents and smiling at each other sometime in the morning before any of my shifts was
so good, the guiding spirit <3 ahh. I don't know why but that moment just felt really really special to me :D I really miss guides so much. why am i missing so much next week omg.
And house, house!! Forever the best eh (: (: I feel sec 1 again. ahhh. especially during the second house presentation when i was just sitting among the sec1s losing myself and cheering with everyone maniacally just like
last year and a sense of deja vu just overcame me. I think I'd forgotten the carefree feeling of being sec1, of just being enthu without having to worry about anything at all except for having fun and being as loud as possible. Found it again today and it feels so good. Today reminded me how we can't ever lose that amazing sense of innocence and fun no matter how busy and crazy life invariably gets. It was so amazing.
On a side note, I got completely, completely drenched when I was trying to save Thu's bag (x it was amusing with everyone staring at the rain cloud inching slowly, slowly towards our court and suddenly, WHOOSH!! haha omygosh. so cute.
Also as usual the best best part was cheering Unite. And when Phyllis screwed up I couldn't help it I just broke out laughing and looked around during the second part, and it feels so good to see
everyone stamping and clapping and cheering, with your ears ringing with the sound of the Rafflesian spirit. Unite always brings the whole school together, whether you're usually enthu or not. Love love love Raffles so much it's impossible to fathom why I was even considering Nanyang back when I was P6. I think RG has already become a completely irreplaceable part of me :D
