guides today just made me wonder why there're so many problems in the world nowadays. why there is racial discrimination. riots. uneven distribution. why do people judge so easily? this is one thing i've never understood and it always puzzles me, because we're all homo sapiens and i don't understand how or why anyone can think they're above anyone else. i don't know where this inflated sense of self-importance comes from. the futility of it all- why do we care so much about ourselves! i don't see what's the point, all this is just counterproductive and your skin colour doesn't make you superior to someone else, neither do your good grades, or anything of that sort.
and the hard work you put in is never directly proportional to what you get back (despite what primary school compos say about you reap what you sow) and perhaps that's how the world works but i really don't like it. i don't believe anyone should work so hard for anything and not get what she wanted just because of some entirely invalid reason. who doesn't wish it could be, but i'm not sure it's possible. the world out there is cruel, it's true. there're people that try for a lifetime and their talent is never recognised. it's very much a matter of luck, but that doesn't mean we can't make the best of what we have.
the happiest people don't have everything. they just make the best of everything.
