today was- the most tiring day i've had in a very very long time, but it was also the happiest :D don't remember feeling so satisfied, despite how i'm utterly exhausted now after being in school from 8-6.30.
tied way too many knots today for comfort- my hands still feel somewhat raw now omg. but it was fun la, working and chatting and having fun with people :D and before that coming to school at 8 sitting ther awkwardly waiting for fang and then being ridiculously excited about march camp (although i reckon i looked quite stone at the beginning, heh). but really omg omg campfire is so exciting!! :D :D :D cannot wait it's going to be so amazing and i'm very very excited to write the script and everything (:
i think the best part was when the sec1s and the parents were down- it started off with me being very confused and slightly awkward but then i started getting uh, very high and it was so amazing. although i think some of the sec1s might have gotten freaked out by caitlin and i (heh oops) but it was very fun and although their batch looks rather mugger WE SAW NICE FUNNY SECONES! and initally i was wondering how to explain to the parents/ secones what guides is all about but after a while i realised that there's no need to follow the guidelines too much because everything just came pouring out- all the fun we have in guides and everything, all i needed was just my enthusiasm and passion for guides and everything else is easy. being extremely high with caitlin and julia and agatha was- actually really fun. I THINK WE MIGHTA CONVINCED THEM TO JOIN GUIDES!! it was such a warm feeling of family- i think we keep telling the parents that guides is one big family, and it's really very true, that's the thing i love most about guides. there was so much sincerity and love today that it just made everything amazing :D
official start of the school year tomorrow and i'm actually pretty excited- though still quite nervous about 310 although considering how much our class group has been spammed they seem like a friendly bunch :D and this year is going to be very exciting with march camp OT housey stuff hssrp and all! i have no idea if i should be happy about obs though hurhur. it's very cool and i'm very excited for the opportunities this year will bring. still not used to the fact that i'm secthree it feels pretty strange but we'll get used to it and i know our batch will be amazing :D :D :D this year will be an extremely different experience from last year- last year everything was so fixated on om and house but this year there's more time for everything else (:
heh i'm quite excited about the added responsibilities of being sec3 (though i suspect i'm one of the very few) :D especially for guides!! can't wait for open house i think 13atch will be very very wonderful. and- okay everything else la i cannot list everything here and i don't know how to put what i'm feeling into words either but 2012 you will be amazing :D
