Random realizations over the past few days:
1. I really really love guides (:
2. I like postmortem too 8D the whole thing about giving feedback and knowing that we can improve on that in future is quite wonderful.
3. ...taking the lift is not as fun as everyone seems to think it is
4. This year I've been getting so annoyed with all the random Chinese worksheets and way too much Chinese homework that I'd almost forgotten how much I love the language, how amazing its expression can be till tonight when I started to really LISTEN to Chinese songs and appreciate the amazingness of the lyrics rather than just something that helps me de-stress and realized how much I'd ignored the language in favor of simply doing okay in the subject. I really don't like the Chinese syllabus though ): I see how they use compre and things like that to help people grasp the language but it's so damn frustrating because they don't showcase the true meaning of the Chinese language at all. Language should be used for expression and not just a tool for you to do well in your exams and all the current chinese syllabus does is put me off wanting to read Chinese books/do anything remotely related
5. Week one seems to have passed quite fast, term two is so far so good- I'm sure it'll start getting crazy soon enough but for now (: quite excited with everything coming up though haha Open house IHG week SPORTSFEST and whatsnot(:
