going out with charys foo bea mae yvette was fun (: it was like some sort of impromptu mini 203 reunion and i realise i really miss that class very much, thank you (:
COH meeting on thursday made me realise that our batch is really stepping up. specifically, when they flashed the names of all the overall ics and instead of seeing the senior's names last year or seeing the names on the welcome back powerpoint at the beginning of each year it's our batch. and i don't know where all this time went, and during PL discussion i was wondering when our batch became this batch that truly started caring about guides with all that sincerity.
then ICYL GM and the learning of the ICYL song was just great, i guess sometimes while doing icyl stuff there's just this sense of disconnect because you just have no idea what everyone else is doing in such a huge OT and it's difficult to feel the sense of purpose when we're all working on our individual jobscopes amidst everything else. but bringing people together and seeing the convention slowly come together, seeing everything piece together is a great feeling. and when we were learning the icyl song, the sense of solidarity was amazing.
