The thing about reviving the blog is that I generally end up feeling obligated to blog-- which should not be happening but ):
So, things that have been going on-- hugely welcome reprieve from guides things for the first time this year (as much as I love guides), YFC which is turning out unexpectedly well but also unexpectedly stressful, campaigning which is... crazy but unexpectedly wonderful, RS presentation is thankfully over but the report is currently non-existent, papers yesterday that were surprisingly okay, papers next week that will not be okay no matter how much i wish they would be because MATH.
also, i realise i need to bring my focus back to academics. as much as i don't want to. the past few days of actually studying among other things makes me realise i do love my subjects (even bio). and this is something i keep forgetting amidst everything else i'm involved in, but i need to hold on to this.
campaigning-- good stuff. this has been my favourite campaign period over all four years, and perhaps it's not right to enjoy someone else's campaign so much more than my own, but oh well. it's not exactly easy, spending so much time on it and sometimes it feels meh. but it's agatha, and it's worth it (': people keep asking me why i'm bothering to do so much for this, because we won't be here next year anyway, and for a junior, no less! but it's something i really believe in and it's someone i really believe in. and all this is strangely heartening. thank you kid, for those constant little things that remind me why i'm doing this (such an aggie), why i believe in you so much. thank you estee esther faith and everyone else for being absolutely wonderful and supportive and enthusiastic. ahh it's just great stuff, this will work out somehow!!
and the comforting thing-- three more weeks. just three more weeks to go.
